The Final Stretch!
9.32am on 25th August ….I made it to the 4th corner – Narayan Sarovar.
As i stood there on that windswept desolate road it struck me, this was it, I had travelled to the 4 corners of India.

Well that’s corner number 3 completed. I really could’ve stayed at Kanyakumari, it was so pleasing on the eye and filled with charm.
What a difference a day makes. The sense of relief to be heading toward some form of civilisation is enough to lift my spirits and push me back into the bottleneck of Bangladesh & Nepal.
What a milestone that was. It truly was something of an ordeal reaching this 2nd corner. I was determined to keep going today until I reached Tezu.
9th August and I arrived back in Chandigarh within the week – brilliant. Time to grab a shower and a beer, whilst planning the next stage.
It’s been an eventful first week so far, with the challenge being forced upon me before planned!
Having arrived in Delhi from Perth early on Wednesday 1st August I caught a bus to Chandigarh. Having stopped for a nature break I had my first taste of the local cuisine and hospitality.
John went on an incredible ride around Australia in just 15 days on Highway route 1.
His ride was dedicated to the organisation of PYMS to raise funds and awareness about the drug and alcohol the youth is facing nowadays.
